Money

This blog post is taken from my book Golden Nuggets, and it’s a great reminder that you won’t live up to your “money making” potential if you allow your mind to be filled with negative thoughts.

The following sentences are examples of negative thoughts that people tend to have towards money.

If I made a lot of money, then I could be robbed.

If I made a lot of money, then I might lose it, and everyone would know I’m really a failure.

If I made a lot of money, then everyone would be asking me for a handout.

If I made a lot of money, then I’d never know if people liked me for myself or for my money.

If I made a lot of money, then I’d have to understand investments and tax strategies.

If I made a lot of money, then my kids could be kidnapped.

If I made a lot of money, then I’d be in a higher tax bracket and I’d have to pay too much in taxes.

These are all examples of negative thoughts about money, and if you allow any thoughts like this to reside in your mind, then you won’t make as much money as you’re able to make… which will hinder your ability to “financially” help others.
